North Sutton, NH--Light test and measurement company Labsphere, a Halma Company, promoted Greg McKee to vice president of engineering. Throughout his 23 year career at Labsphere, Greg has held a number of technical and marketing management positions. Most recently, Greg was the General Manager of Labsphere's Systems Business Unit, guiding the design and manufacture of custom light metrology solutions for LED/solid state lighting and remote-sensing markets.
McKee holds a B.S. in Electro-Optics from the University of Houston and is the author of many technical publications. Well known in the electro-optics industry, McKee is a longtime member and board director of several major industry international committees including CORM, IESNA Testing Procedures Committee, and IESNA SSL Testing Procedures Committee.
Dan Scharpf was promoted to General Manager of Labsphere’s System Business Unit (SBU), assuming Greg McKee’s former role. Scharpf has been with Labsphere for over 2 years as sales manager for the SBU. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining Labsphere Scharpf accumulated over 20 years experience in laboratory testing, data analysis, simulation, and analytical modeling in areas of thermal analysis, acoustics, aerodynamics, and light measurement.
