NIR spectrometer

May 1, 1995
Near-IR (1-3 µm) miniature fiberoptic spectrometer offers greater dynamic range while using lead-sulfide, 32-element linear arrays. Each section, which can be combined to form 128-, 256-, and 512-element arrays, uses its own multiplexer. A global scaling technique levels the dark current for greater dynamic range out of each element well.
