Radiometric probe

July 1, 1995
A small dipstick-type probe for radiometry measurements is designed for use with small intense sources of UV radiation. The 5-mm2 cross-section RAM¥microprobe has a quart¥optical element with a 400-µm sensing aperture. Chrome-plating provides reflectivity and heat protection. The probe is sensitive from 200 to 3000 nm, has an acceptance angle of 䔸° at 550 nm, and is available in 1.5- and 3-ft lengths.
