Fieldportable notebook spectrometer

A miniature fiberoptic ultraviolet, visible, nearinfrared spectrometer, the PS 1000, interfaces to notebook PCs via an included 12bit PCMCIA A/D card. The unit relies on a 1024element chargecoupleddevice array spectrometer inside a 3 ¥ 9 ¥ 15cm case and can interface with accessories using only a singlestrand fiber.
