FT-IR spectrometer

March 1, 1997
The MIR 8000 modular FT-IR spectrometer can be assembled using a variety of source, detector, and scanning modules. Thus the configuration can be optimized for the application. The instrument can operate from 0.7 to 28 µm (14,000 to 350 cm-1), with resolutions starting at 0.02 nm (0.5 cm-1) in the near-IR. Scan speeds from 0.3 to 25 mm/s are possible. Users can develo¥applications using the MIR 8000 software with LabView and the company`s Virtual Instruments Library.
