UV laser

A frequency-doubled argon-ion laser provides 100 mW of power at 244 or 257 nm. The 95 SHG intracavity doubled laser is a 6-W ion laser equipped with a BBO crystal, which can provide phase-matching down to 205 nm. Applications include UV Raman spectroscopy, semiconductor wafer inspection, optical-fiber grating, and semiconductor photolithography.
