Raytheon Amber has completed transfer of the microbolometer-production technology from Honeywell Corp.to the company`s new in-house manufacturing facility.

Raytheon Amber (Goleta, CA) has completed transfer of the microbolometer-production technology from Honeywell Corp. (Minneapolis, MN) to the company`s new in-house manufacturing facility, where the 320 × 240-pixel microbolometer focal-plane array used inside the Sentinel uncooled infrared camera will be produced. . . . PixelVision Inc. (Beaverton, OR) and Specim, Spectral Imaging Ltd. (Oulu, Finland) negotiated a joint sales and marketing agreement for North American markets. The team intends to target growing industrial inspection, medical, remote-sensing, and material- and life-science markets. . . . Mitsubishi Electric Corp. (Sunnyvale, CA) and Advanced Display Inc. (Kumamoto, Japan) have agreed to license their advanced thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal-display technologies to Chunghwa Picture Tube Ltd., a leading cathode-ray-tube manufacturer in Taiwan.
