    The Genesis II FTIR spectrometer is designed for routine sample analysis in a quality-control environment. The electronics in the instrument provide higher signal-to-noise ratio and faster scanning than the previous version. The spectrometer offers 1-cm-1 resolution in the near- or mid-IR, with a choice of room-temperature or liquid-nitrogen-cooled detectors. An option offers higher spectral resolution of 0.50 cm-1.
