Spectroradiometer

Nov. 1, 1997
The SeaSpec spectroradiometer is a submersible dual-CCD instrument designed for oceanography applications. The device supplies the radiance and irradiance measurements required by the bio-optics community for NASA`s Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-View Sensor program. The instrument uses two spectrometers that provide a spectral range from 380 to 900 nm and includes equipment that allows autonomous operation and power management, allowing the device to be deployed from a float or buoy.
