Fiber spectrometer

A linear-CCD-array fiber spectrometer, the PC1000, is mounted on a 1/2-length AT bus card. The 128-mA CMOS design allows the spectrometer to be inserted into PCs without additional power supply requirements. The use of single fibers allows the spectrometer to be configured for absorbance, transmittance, reflectance, radiance, and fluorescence measurements. Applications include plasma analysis and biomedical spectral analysis for tumor detection.
