    A compact, tunable laser system includes a MagicPrism optical parametric oscillator (OPO) integrated with a Quantel Brilliant Nd:YAG laser. The OPO is based on a patented ring oscillator design in a 4.5 ¥ 3 ¥ 2.75-in package. Modularity allows component replacement without the need for realignment, allowing easy use in several wavelength ranges. Tuning ranges available are 420 to 700 nm, 680 nm to >1 µm, and 225 to 380 nm. Computer-controlled tuning and a spectrophotometer are option
