Pyrometer

The PYRO 9800 low-temperature pyrometer uses fluoride glass optical fibers to sense radiation in the 3- to 5-µm region. The technology allows temperature measurements from 30°C to 500°C with response times as fast as 5 ms. Applications include laser welding monitoring, glass temperature measurements, in situ spectroscopy, and noncontact temperature measurements in general.
