• Autocorrelator

The TimeWarp autocorrelator can be used for diagnostics of ultrafast pulses ranging from 40 to 500 fs from modelocked Ti:sapphire and other lasers. The instrument is based on a Michelson interferometer with a variable delay driven at 18 Hz. The device allows optical recombination to occur in a GaAsp LED, thus eliminating the need for photomultiplier tubes and nonlinear crystals.
