Atomic force microscope

An atomic force microscope designed specifically for optical storage applications, the Accurex II MS makes 3-D high-resolution surface measurements of DVD, CD, and related stampers and disks. The instrument can scan areas from 100 ¥ 100 µm to areas of less than 1 m on a side and can scan features u¥to 10 m high (or deep). Scan resolution in all dimensions is 0.1 nm.
