Ocean Optics relocates its manufacturing facilities
Following the spring 1998 relocation of its headquarters to a 20,000-sq ft facility in Dunedin, FL, Ocean Optics has announced the relocation of its Orlando, FL, manufacturing facilities to a 10,000-sq ft commercial building in Winter Park, FL. The move will more than double the production space and consolidate the manufacturing and R&D teams of this maker of fiberoptic spectrometers and optical sensing components. A key vendor of the company, F. C. Machine, will lease a portion of the new facilities to build a state-of-the-art machine shop on-site.
