Interferometer for spectrometer

The Vectra-Piezo interferometer is designed to be used with the company’s Magna-IR 860 E.S.P. FTIR spectrometer to improve performance in step-scan applications. The spectrometer now uses a set of PZTs on the fixed mirror assembly to achieve high-amplitude phase modulation. This allows the user to control the frequency of phase modulation from 5 Hz to 1 kHz.
