Epoxy adhesive

TRA-Bond F120 is a two-part fast-cure epoxy adhesive. The medium viscosity material has a pot life of five minutes, allowing it to gel within minutes at room temperature. It can also be heat cured. The adhesive was developed for fiberoptic and optical bonding applications such as lens mounting, connector backfills, and printed-circuit-board repairs.

The 8-A, 600 V UH8JT and UHF8JT single high-voltage ultrafast rectifiers provide a reverse recovery time of 25 ns. Forward recovery time is 150 ns under LEM test conditions (IF = 8A, di/dt = 64 A/µs, VF = 1.1 × VFmax) and a low forward-voltage drop rating of 1.85 V at 125°C. Built using planar chip-junction technology, the rectifiers can be used for a range of power-supply applications.

Ultrafast laser

The Micra ultrafast laser delivers broad spectral bandwidth (greater than 100 nm) output. The laser head includes a broadband oscillator and a dedicated Verdi pump laser. Micra can be used to seed amplifier systems designed to produce amplified pulses as short as 10 to 15 fs. It offers center-wavelength tunability and a user-adjustable spectral bandwidth from less than 30 to more than 100 nm. Research applications include terahertz imaging, optical coherence tomography, and time-resolved spectroscopy.

CW laser diodes

Continuous-wave laser diodes at 808 nm with 1000 mW power are manufactured in-house of InGa(Al)As/GaAs material with a standard wavelength selection of ±3 nm. Using this structure, 500 mW power is produced at 1.1 A. The laser chip is embedded in the hermetically sealed 9 mm CD package.
