Palomar Technologies, Inc. (Vista, CA), a manufacturer of high-precision assembly systems for broadband communications, today announced the promotion of Kevin Conlon to president. Chairman Gary Gist made the announcement. Since joining Palomar in 1997, Conlon has held the positions of vice president, sales and marketing, and chief operating officer.
Prior to joining Palomar, Conlon held several management and executive positions within the semiconductor capital equipment industry, including ten years in product marketing and operations management at Applied Materials (Santa Clara, CA). He was previously director of marketing for Novellus Systems and executive vice president, sales and marketing for Genus Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA.
Conlon received his BS degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and his MBA degree from Santa Clara University in California.
