The Laser Institute of America (LIA; Orlando, FL) has announced the release of the new ANSI Z136.5 (2000) American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers in Educational Institutions.

The Laser Institute of America (LIA; Orlando, FL) has announced the release of the new ANSI Z136.5 (2000) American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers in Educational Institutions. The standard applies the requirements of the ANSI Z136.1 American National Standard for Save Use of Lasers to educational sites, including teaching labs, classrooms, lecture halls, science museums, and science fairs.
