TV Industry Leaders to Speak at HDTV Forum 2003

HDTV gurus and high-level speakers from nine big-screen TV makers have agreed to participate in the first annual HDTV Forum 2003: Enabling HDTV from the Factory to the Home, November 12-13, 2003, at the Marina Del Rey (CA) Marriott. The conference is organized by Insight Media, a market researcher on the microdisplay industry and DisplaySearch, the flat panel display market researcher.

This innovative two-day conference, co-sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), will bring together representatives from TV and cable networks, government agencies, satellite and cable providers, retailers, distributors, TV brands, TV OEMs, panel/tube/engine manufacturers and IC manufacturers. The conference will provide a unique forum for information exchange about the key topics facing the emergence of the HDTV era and provide an opportunity to interact with industry leaders.

The conference fee is $995 for the two-day event, which includes a registration cocktail reception, attendance to the general session and exhibit hall on both days, and meals. Each attendee will walk away with the conference proceedings, worth tens of hundreds of thousands of dollars, in hard copy and on CD-ROM.
