The Journal of Laser Applications (JLA), published by the Laser Institute of America (LIA) through the American Institute of Physics, is now available online. The online version is reachable via a link from the LIA homepage, www.laserinstitute.org/jla/. It will be viewable free-of-charge during 2002, afterwards a subscription fee must be paid.
Another change for the JLA is a decrease in the publishing frequency. It will go from six issues a year to four in 2002 in its hard-copy and online format, and the number of papers will remain the same or slightly increase.
The JLA is free of charge to all LIA members (in both print and online formats). For all others, subscription prices are $330 for domestic, $355 for the Americas and Caribbean and $380 for all other internationals.
