Diffractive optical element fabrication offered through ARPA

Oct. 1, 1995
The Honeywell diffractive-optic-element (DOE) fabrication capabilities have been made available to designers through an Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) Co-o¥program. Twenty designs were selected in an open competition, including coupling, imaging, and beam-shaping DOEs, microlens arrays for smart-pixel subsystems, and elements for optical switching and interconnects. Fabrication is scheduled for November, and finished DOEs should be delivered by late December. Follow-u¥workshops
