    Improvements to the Czochralski crystal-growth process yield YVO crystals larger than 125 grams in less than 48-hour growing time. Dopant concentrations are 0.55, 0.7, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 atomic percent. Apertures from 2 ¥ 2 mm to 12 ¥ 12 mm, with thicknesses from 500 µm to 25 mm, are available for prototype and production orders. Crystal applications include high-volume communications, display, scientific, and medical markets.
