IBM Almaden Research Center (San Jose, CA), Stanford University (Stanford, CA), and the University of California at Davis have joined forces to form the Center for Polymer Interfaces and Macromolecular Assemblies (CPIMA) at IBM. This is one of 11 Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers federally funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
