Researchers from the SolidState Laser Institute at the Technical University of Berlin (Germany) developed a novel fourlam¥configuration that reportedly produces the highest average power (220 W) from a pulsed Ti:sapphire laser. Four xenon lamps from ILC Technology Inc.
