Fast OPG

May 1, 1997
The PG401 series of optical parametric generators offers picosecond pulses with tuning ranges from 420 nm to 10 mm. Applications include time-resolved spectroscopy and materials research. The narrowed models have linewidths of less than 12 cm-1 and scanning steps of less than 6 cm-1. The OPGs require near-Gaussian-mode pum¥beams of 25- to 35-ps pulses with energies of 6-12 mJ at 355 nm.
