Computer-vision manufacturer Coreco Inc. (St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada) has acquired Logical Vision Ltd. (Vancouver, Canada), a developer of graphical-programming-development tools. Computer-vision manufacturer Coreco Inc. (St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada) has acquired Logical Vision Ltd. (Vancouver, Canada), a developer of graphical-programming-development tools. Logical Vision`s flagshi¥product, the WiT family of products, allows users to design imaging algorithms from conception to final target environment by the creation of block diagrams. Keith Reuben, Coreco`s president and CEO, said the acquisition will add value to Coreco`s next generation of hardware products. "This will hel¥our customers using host-based processing to develo¥their applications faster through WiT`s easy-to-use graphical interface," Reuben said. Cofounders Terence Arden, president of Logical Vision, and Joseph Poon, director of research, will join Coreco. The company will remain in Vancouver and operate as a division of Coreco.
