UV laser

May 1, 1996
The UVS laser produces wavelength-selectable light between 200 and 320 nm. The frequency-doubled nitrogen-laser-pumped dye laser is compact and offers energies of about 2 to 5 µJ/pulse at 250 nm. The system is designed for UV electro-illuminescence and laser-induced fluorescence applications in biomedical research, as well as clinical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and process-control work.
