Area color inspection system works on several device surface types
The Area Color Inspection System (ACIS) combines a colorimeter, proprietary dome illumination configuration, metal framework, and image analysis software. It evaluates the completeness, accuracy, and color (CIE L*a*b*) of marked text and symbols on device surfaces, including metal, plastic, glass, or ceramic. Marks can be laser-etched or printed with stroke widths as small as 10 μm.
