San Francisco, CA--On January 23rd, in conjunction with SPIE Photonics West, the W Hotel in San Francisco, CA will host the 2012 Lasers & Photonics Marketplace Seminar (www.marketplaceseminar.com) to navigate what lies ahead. Despite the weak global recovery, financial strains in Europe and North America, and concerns about the Chinese market, corporate earnings for lasers have fared well--but the road ahead is looking bumpy and uncertain. Fortunately, many opportunities remain and you can gain insight into them and into critical market trends by attending the 24th annual Lasers & Photonics Marketplace Seminar.

The Seminar will include a keynote from entrepreneur Milton Chang, detailed laser market analysis and laser market forecasts from Tom Hausken, Conard Holton, and David Belforte, and a Technology Forum on hot laser technologies including terahertz, fiber, and ultrafast lasers.

This event is intended for business leaders and key players at photonics manufacturers and their suppliers as well as anyone with a stake in the business of photonics, such as technology analysts and investors.

Walk-in registrations are welcome the day of the event, but if you register online before January 20, you can save $300 off the full seminar fee. There is only one week left to register; we look forward to seeing you there!
