    PRESS RELEASE

The VFI-1200 is an interferometric inspection system specifically designed for checking the end-face quality and flatness of cleaved, polished or lensed fibers with diameters of 125µm to 1200µm. Crisp end-face images show up every defect and high contrast fringe patterns make it easy to estimate end angles. The 5Mpixel camera helps to show every detail and enables a x6 digital zoom. The VFI-1200 comes with an efficient software package which enables you to grab, save and print images. This gives you the ability to record vital QA data and produce reports. Other useful software features include - intensity line profile, intensity histogram, auto-optimization of intensity, end angle estimation, pseudo-color rendering, review stored images.
