Join the winners list for the 2013 CLEO/LFW Innovation Awards

Feb. 18, 2013
Washington, DC--CLEO exhibitors: you have the opportunity to join a distinguished list of CLEO/LFW Innovation Awards winners.

Washington, DC--The Optical Society (OSA; http://www.osa.org) and Laser Focus World (LFW; Nashua, NH; http://www.laserfocusworld.com) want CLEO conference exhibitors to join the distinguished list of previous winners of the CLEO/LFW Innovation Awards (http://www.cleoconference.org/home/exhibit-displays-and-activities/cleo-laser-focus-world-innovation-awards/). The Innovation Awards program offers excellent exposure for your company and product. Enter now; the 2013 CLEO/LFW Innovation Awards submission deadline is 27 March 2013.

Previous winners include the following distinguished list:

2012 Winner: BioPhotonic Solutions, Inc. for the development of femtoAdaptiv, the first ultrafast laser capable of adaptive pulse self-compression that delivers ultrashort (sub-10 fs) pulses at the focal plane of a microscope objective.

2011 Winner: Applied Research and Photonics, Inc. for the development of a highly sensitive, low-power terahertz scanning reflectometer capable of directly measuring both the concentration gradient and kinetics of permeation of an ingredient across the thickness of a substrate in real time and in a non-invasive fashion.

2010 Winner: NTTAdvanced Technology Corporation for its development of a very broad-wavelength-range (532-4000 nm), voltage-controlled laser beam scanner with no moving parts that is 100 times faster and 100 times smaller than conventional scanners.

Please note that a number of honorable mention candidates are also awarded with exposure at the CLEO conference and via press in Laser Focus World magazine’s print edition as well as an online video interview.

Your company will obtain recognition by peers, industry leaders, and potential customers during a special presentation at the CLEO: 2013 Plenary Session and during the Exhibitor Breakfast. You will gain additional visibility in official conference materials on-site (Conference Program, Exhibit Buyers' Guide) and in a CLEO press release, as well as signage at the conference.

Applying is especially easy this year. The process has been significantly simplified for 2013: answer just three questions about your product or service. That’s it! And as part of the application process, you will be automatically entered for a chance to win the new iPad3.
