Waveguide designer
The heart of the BPM_CAD waveguide-optics modeling software is the Beam Propagation Method. Simulation can be done for the propagation of an optical field through 2- or 3-D integrated optical devices. Numerical methods are also included to characterize modal properties of different type waveguides.
