Applications include passive optical networks, synchronous digital hierarchy, and cabletelevision return links. These MQW lasers operate at 40!C to 85!C without needing thermoelectric cooling. The device has a 1.3nm spectral width. The NDL7401¥is available in a variety of packages and meets Bellcore specifications.
