Version 4.0 of the LabVIEW graphical programming software features native 32-bit versions for Windows 95 and Windows NT. The software offers a new customizable development environment, allowing users to customize and move palettes of tools and controls. The OLE-based connectivity and distributed execution tools ease integration of LabVIEW programs with external software. The software runs on a variety of platforms including PC-compatible and Macintosh computers, Sun SPARCstations, and HP workstations.
