A diode-pumped Nd:YLF laser-marking system, the LightWriter 2000, is vertically mounted to provide a laser footprint of 7 ¥ 9 in. An OEM insert allows integrators to remove the electronics shell and instead house the laser controls in a 19-in. rack. Three levels of operator access are available. Mark preview software shows the mark format and where mark will be placed on the part.
