    Steinmeyer has announced the MP63 three-axis micromanipulator module, a fully enclosed three-axis positioner with 25 mm stroke in each direction. Included inside the compact precision assembly are DC gear motors, rotary encoders, lead screws, and noncontact limit switches. Accuracy in each direction is 5 microns with ±1 micron repeatability.

    Steinmeyer has announced the MP63 three-axis micromanipulator module, a fully enclosed three-axis positioner with 25 mm stroke in each direction. Included inside the compact precision assembly are DC gear motors, rotary encoders, lead screws, and noncontact limit switches. Accuracy in each direction is 5 µm with ±1 µm repeatability. Standard straightness and flatness is ± 3 µm (1 µm is available as an option). The entire assembly weighs about 2 kg and all components are inside. Cable connectors are located on one end for convenience and simplicity. And, as an option, the assembly can be made clean-room compatible.
