September 12, 2008--Newport Corporation (Irvine, CA), provider of laser and photonic solutions that Make, Manage, and Measure Light, announced sales release for its SmartTable OTS optical table system--a vibration isolation system that adds integrated accessories to maximize comfort and optimize laboratory space, organization, and safety. SmartTable OTS addresses a wide range of applications including laser microscopy, optical trapping, and more critical applications like carrier-envelope phase (CEP) studies or stimulated emission depletion (STED) imaging (see article entitled Effective vibration reduction stabilizes laser beams).
