Applied Scientific releases compact linear stages

Sept. 6, 2013
The stages use crossed-roller slides, precision lead screws, and zero-backlash, miniature, geared DC servomotors for 50–200 mm travel.

Linear stages provide sub-micron accuracy by using closed-loop DC servomotors and rotary encoders for positioning feedback. The stages use crossed-roller slides, precision lead screws, and zero-backlash miniature geared DC servomotors for 50–200 mm travel. Vertical loads up to 4.5 kg and horizontal loads over 45 kg can be accommodated.
