Super Six-D double-sided bare-board tester uses four moving probes for low-volume testing of dense fine-line surface-mount and multichip-module products. Probing accuracy is 1 mil and system resolution is 1 ?m. Pads as small as 3 mils (0.076 mm) can be tested. Automated vision and pattern-recognition-aided alignment increase accuracy and decrease setu¥time.
