A laser triangulation sensor provides resolution to 2.5 nm. The Microtrak 7000 can be used with any of seven interchangeable laser heads to measure distance, displacement, thickness, or vibration without contact at distances of u¥to 15.2 cm. The module`s sampling frequency is 100 kHz. A visible laser spot eases target alignment. The module provides 䔮-Vdc analog output using RS-232 or IEEE-488 interfaces.
