High-resolution positioning systems designed to customer requirements are available using a variety of equipment. Positioning systems include translation tables, rotary stages, gonionic stages, linear actuators, piezoelectric translators, and computerized servo controllers. The positioners can be manually operated or motorized with either analog or digital control. Systems can be designed for high or low temperatures, hard vacuum, unusual geometries, or limited spaces.
