Positioning system

The AGS10000 series gantry-positioning systems feature rare-earth linear brushless servo motors rather than belt or ball-screw drives, thus offering acceleration u¥to 20 m/s2 and speeds to 3.0 m/s. The systems offer 0.1-µm resolution and repeatability of 2 µm. Applications include laser cutting or welding and other point-to-point and contoured path automation systems.
