Two 12-bit analog-to-digital converters provide 100-kH¥throughput, 73-dB signal-to-noise ratio, and 75-mW power consumption. The CS7870 and CS7875 A/D converters are pin-compatible with existing 12-bit converters, thus allowing replacement without requiring modifications to surrounding hardware. The devices include a self-calibrating capacitor DAC function that improves long-term system stability.
