The DMC-2000 series of motion controllers is available in one- through eight-axis formats that enable control of both step and servo motors and run attached to the Universal Serial Bus. The USB serial bus allows peripheral devices to be attached directly to USB ports on PCs without requiring users to install cards on dedicated computer slots (unlike devices that use ISA, PCI, and proprietary buses).
