Meller Optics polishing pitch is made from wood resin
Gugolz optical polishing pitch comes in five grades from very soft to very hard, with melting points from 52° to 87°C. It is ready to use without screening, filtering, or mixing additives. The pitch is made from wood resin, and can be used for CaF2, germanium, quartz, ZnSe, ZnS, silicon, and other optical materials.
