Meller Optics polishing pitch is made from wood resin

Gugolz optical polishing pitch comes in five grades from very soft to very hard, with melting points from 52° to 87°C. It is ready to use without screening, filtering, or mixing additives. The pitch is made from wood resin, and can be used for CaF₂, germanium, quartz, ZnSe, ZnS, silicon, and other optical materials.
