Toptica expands US management team

September 27, 2006, Rochester, NY--Mark Tolbert has joined Toptica (Munich, Germany) in the US to provide more focus on OEM markets. In his new role, Tolbert will directly report to Wilhelm Kaenders, president, and will manage Toptica's OEM development in North America.

Formally, Tolbert held positions of director of sales & marketing, director of business development, senior product manager and national sales manager at EXFO Burleigh Products Group (Fishers, NY). Prior to those positions, he was director of sales GS Plastic Optics (Rochester, NY), and was also quite active in the high tech arena as a business development consultant.

Tolbert earned his MBA at the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and a degree in physics from Rochester Institute of Technology.
