A new pluggable toolkit with a library of lab-proven DSP algorithms is designed for the VPItransmissionMaker Optical Systems version 9.1 simulation platform for optical transmission systems. New DSP functions include I/Q imbalance correction, blind chromatic dispersion estimation and compensation, polarization demultiplexing, and PMD compensation.
