Cambridge, UK, June 18, 2002 -- Moritex Europe has a comprehensive range of flexible light guides for microscopy, machine vision and photonic applications requiring targeted illumination. Offering the widest choice of configurations including ring, straight, plate, slit, bifurcated and multifurcated light guides, Moritex Europe can provide a high performance flexible light guide optimised to suit your application. Additionally Moriex light guides are available in a choice of fibre materials including quartz, multi-component glass and plastic.

Protected with flexible steel sheathing Moritex light guides provide efficient, high throughput operation throughout the temperature range -40°C to 180°C (plastic to 80°C).

For applications requiring off-axis or dark-field illumination, Moritex offers two variants of ring light guide, standard and vertical. Bifurcated light guides allow one light source to provide two points of light, which is ideal for applications where two objects have to be illuminated or where an object requires oblique lighting. Moritex multifurcated light guides provide three or four terminating fibre bundles. These light guides allow one source to light an object from many angles or to simultaneously illuminate multiple objects with a single light source.

For customers with specialist lighting requirements Moritex Europe offers a custom design service.
