An optical Powell lens (prism), a type of aspheric cylinder lens that transforms a laser beam into a uniform, straight laser line, produces greater energy distribution along the laser line compared to using rods and conventional lenses. Standard 9 mm diameter lenses are offered with customized sizes and coatings available.
